Historical, political & modern

Strasbourg can be easily reached in just 20 minutes by car or streetcar. Not only is the European Parliament based there, but the medieval city center around the Grande Île (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is also definitely worth a visit. Thanks to the great gastronomic scene, small boutiques and renowned museums (for example the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art "MAMCS"), there is something for every visitor here. Some people from Kehl like to say: "Strasbourg is the best Kehl has to offer!"

Burger experience, culinary delights & timber framework

From Kehl, it is only a stone's throw to Alsace. There you can follow the Alsace Wine Route - one of the oldest tourist routes in France. A visit to Hohkönigsburg Castle or a trip to Colmar or Mulhouse are also worthwhile excursion destinations.

Discover Kehl - Stroll along the picturesque Rhine promenade through the enchanting Garden of Two Banks, a symbol of Franco-German friendship.
The Old Rhine is beautifully situated on the edge of the town and also invites you to take a romantic stroll.

Also not far away: the spa town of Baden-Baden, which can be reached by car in just over half an hour and also offers a wide range of leisure activities with its thermal baths, festival theater, stately villas and museums such as the Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden or the Frieder Burda Museum.

The Black Forest is known far beyond Germany's borders for its particularly good food. From Black Forest gateau to ham and, of course, wine, there is plenty to try here. Food lovers therefore particularly appreciate the region and enjoy visiting the more than 50 wineries, various large family breweries and around 7,000 (!) distilleries.

Adrenaline, family fun & theme worlds

The absolute highlight for many visitors to our region is the well-known "Europapark" theme park in the small town of Rust, around 40 minutes away. You can easily spend a whole day there and experience all kinds of wild adventures.
